Jun Kiln Site Museum

The project is situated within the historic fabric of Shenhou Town in Yuzhou, deeply embedded in the heritage of Jun porcelain kiln sites. The architectural morphology originates from the reconstruction of "Mántóu" kiln forms and the trajectory of the throwing process, drawing inspiration from the "wheel-throwing" technique central to Jun porcelain craftsmanship.

These geometric logics establish a comprehensive system of narrative and preservation: from the timber-structured heritage units to the exhibition galleries defined by a palette of deep red and black, all spaces adhere to the same evolutionary principles of the craft. This allows traditional production rituals and the full industrial chain to interweave and permeate one another.

Here, symbolic forms rooted in local tradition engage in a dialogue with contemporary spatial paths, collectively shaping a Jun porcelain cultural community centered around the "Jun Tower" that preserves both historical authenticity and narrative vitality.
