The project is a mixed-use urban complex integrating commercial, office, and residential functions. Using contemporary architectural language, the design responds to local cultural identity and the natural landscape, aiming to create a new urban landmark in the city core that combines functional integration, cultural recognition, and ecological sustainability. Rooted in the region’s reputation as a “hometown of calligraphy,” the design translates the flowing rhythm of calligraphic strokes into the logic of architectural massing and façade articulation. In response to the orientation of local rivers and surrounding topography, the building volumes are shaped through rotation, organic segmentation, and staggered composition, forming a skyline that appears rock-like and organically grown.

Building upon this approach, traditional local architectural elements such as wood carvings and lattice windows are abstracted and reinterpreted through modern design methods, and integrated into façade details, allowing the architecture to maintain a contemporary character while expressing a restrained and legible cultural memory. Positioned as a CBD anchor and new urban landmark, the project achieves efficient integration of commercial, office, and residential functions to form a vertically connected “city within a city.” Sustainability strategies, including rooftop gardens, rainwater harvesting, and energy-efficient materials, further support ecological balance, resulting in a modern urban forest that fuses landscape, culture, and architecture.
