This design is centered around the concepts of "Waves, Traces, and Horizon," reflecting the maritime culture and historical heritage of Yazhou Bay. "Waves" symbolize the vast and ever-changing sea, "Traces" represent the historical significance of the Maritime Silk Road, and "Horizon" highlights Hainan’s unique geographical identity as the "edge of the world."

The site is divided by an urban road into two sections: the Sports Center to the north and the Deep-Sea Museum to the south. The planning adopts a parallel layout, integrating the fluidity of ocean waves with the grid structure of the tech city to unify different functional areas. The parallel units accommodate sports and exhibition needs while optimizing sunlight, ventilation, and construction efficiency, allowing flexibility for future adjustments.

A commercial pedestrian system runs beneath the urban road, connecting the Sports Center and the Deep-Sea Museum, integrating them through landscapes, commercial areas, a shared atrium, and exhibition spaces. A well-structured horizontal and vertical circulation system links the stadium, gymnasium, fitness center, and museum.

The Sports Center features a sea-view platform, rooftop sports venues, and a leisure bookstore, allowing visitors to enjoy the ocean scenery while engaging in sports and relaxation, creating a poetic "Watching the Vast Sea" experience.

The building’s exterior is equipped with an intelligent shading panel system that adjusts ventilation and lighting. It maximizes the use of natural wind and sunlight, effectively regulating indoor thermal and lighting conditions to enhance comfort and reduce energy consumption.
