Located in the heart of Yazhou Bay, the project is deeply rooted in the maritime civilization and geographical culture of the South China Sea’s Silk Road. The overall generative logic of the scheme stems from a series of parallel units with fluid characteristics, inspired by the regional motifs of "Waves, Tracks, and the Ends of the Earth."
The geometric logic of these parallel units establishes a highly integrated functional system: whether in the sports center to the north or the Deep Sea Museum to the south, both adhere to a unified layout principle. This allows professional athletic and exhibition programs to interweave and permeate with daily commercial and pedestrian spaces.
In this setting, symbolic forms rooted in regional heritage engage in a dialogue with modern green building technologies. Through the coupling of intelligent shading systems and sea-viewing platforms, the design collectively shapes a public urban space that is both poetically atmospheric and highly energy-efficient.
