On June 26, 2018, the world-renowned World Architecture Festival announced the nominees for the 2018 awards. Two works from the Western Studio, "Longmen Cultural Center" and "Dushan No.1 Middle School," were nominated for the Display and School categories respectively. From November 28th to 30th in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, the chief architect of West Line Studio will be invited to attend the award ceremony and give an English speech in front of over 100 international judges.

The World Architecture Festival Awards is one of the largest and most prestigious award ceremonies in the international architecture industry, aimed at recognizing top architecture from around the world and promoting exchanges in global architecture. This year, over 1000 entries from 81 different countries competed in 33 award categories, covering various types such as public municipal architecture, culture, exhibitions, schools, commercial and residential areas.
