West-line Studio, founded in 2004 by architects Haobo Wei and Youjinsong Xie, is an award-winning architectural practice known for its unique design approach: “site order + diverse life models + ritual ‘mnemonic’ system + composite construction.” This method creates a harmonious relationship between a project’s physical setting and the life it supports, while protecting the cultural frameworks of different civilizations. It offers a forward-looking path to preserve varied human lifestyles and to promote the shared evolution of modern society.

Over the years, the studio has delivered acclaimed work in architecture, interiors, landscape, and urban design. Its projects span Asia, Europe, and North America, earning more than sixty international honors, including the Civic Trust Awards – International Award, German Design Award – Gold, WAN Awards – Architect/Practice of the Year – Gold, ABB LEAF Awards – Public Building/Mixed-Use Building, Arch Design Award – Golden, World Architecture Festival (WAF) Awards – Schools, and Kyoto Global Design Awards – BEST 100.

West-line Studio’s work has been widely featured in leading publications such as Casabella, Domus, DETAIL, and Arquitectura Viva, as well as books from Phaidon including Stone and Red: Architecture in Monochrome. The studio has also been invited to major exhibitions worldwide, including the Venice Architecture Biennale, the International Architecture Awards (Athens), Milan Design Week – Asia Design Pavilion, and the Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture in Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
